Got a few things to crow about!

My new passion–scanography–has been making me deliriously happy, thanks to master Ed Martin and Clickers and Flickers’ Dawn Hope Stevens who put us together! I’ve been showing in local galleries
March 2010: Gallery at the End of the World, Altadena
December 2010: Coffee Gallery, Altadena, and Caltech.

In December, I was part of a group of local bloggers, led by Petrea Burchard, who received the 2010 Arroyo Verde Award for Advocacy for our posts defending the natural state of Hahamongna Watershed Park to prevent roads and soccer fields from being built.

My story “That Old Black Magic” won FIRST PLACE in the How-To division of the National Association of Mature Publishers Association awards in 2008. That was good, and what made it better is the judges were from the Missouri School of Journalism! This is what they said: This was a fun story to read. The author offers great information for couples looking to put the spark back into their sex lives. The story is informative, yet entertaining. Thank you!
